she said she will pack her things and leave.

OUTTAKE

Well, I didn't completely keep my resolution about blogging more often, but I was kind of
busy packing up all my things in cardboard boxes, painting walls, buying new furniture, doing some heavy lifting and preparing stuff for university - to conclude - moving to Vienna.
But finally, it's all done and my last week at home, which I spent with getting some important things done and saying goodbye (or rather see you soon) to dear friends, is almost over, I'm leaving on Thursday. Daring this significant step into adulthood bears mixed feelings, of course. I can't wait to start a new life and experience so many new things, but on the other hand I'm pretty f*ing scared that things don't work out for me the way I'd hoped. After all, I don't exactly know many people there yet and I'm not a hundred percent sure if I chose the right subject for me. However there's one thing I am certain of, it will all come about and it will be a great time either way, I'm still young after all.

Enough about that now, I don't want to bore you with my personal crap. Here's a photo of my outfit of the day, at the moment I'm really into black and white stuff, as you can see. Still have to decide, if I like this kind of skirt though. It's rather short and I've been all about maxi skirts all summer.
What do you think? (If there's anyone bored enough to stumble upon this blog of course)

“Autumn seemed to arrive suddenly that year. The morning of the first September was crisp and golden as an apple...”

So, I really wanted to write this post sooner but I got caught up in
planning all that stuff that needs to be done before I leave my small bavarian
hometown and move to Vienna.

Autumn has always been one of my favourite seasons, I really enjoy cuddling up
in some cozy knitted sweater, drinking way too much tea, reading good books
on rainy days, taking long walks through the colourful landscape.. As well, it always
means change, summer ends and something new begins.

And as much as I love autumn, I love the clothes you wear during this season
I wanted to share some pictures of & Other Stories' recent lookbook,
since I really admired the whole concept and the contrast between their simplistic cuts
and the ornaments of the building those images were taken in.
And as you can imagine, the main reason for me sharing them is that in my opinion,
the photographer (couldn't find a name unfortunately) has done an amazing job and made
me want to focus more on analog photography.

“You see I usually find myself among strangers because I drift here and there trying to forget the sad things that happened to me.” - Francis Scott Fitzgerald

I was very eager to show you the results from my recent 1920s inspired theme shooting, since I absolutely love how they turned out. After such a long period of accomplishing only to take ordinary photos, this finally feels like making progress in photography again.

These concept was pretty much inspired by the work amazing Francis Scott Fitzgerald. The new cinematic adaption of The Great Gatsby was such a huge success, I really loved all the beautiful images, especially the ones from the scene with the curtains. I was also very fond of gorgeous Carey Mulligan's appearance as Daisy Buchanan, since she came quite close to embodying Daisy as I imagined her when I read the novel. However, if you ask me, the film doesn't do justice to the book, as it adopts too many Hollywood clichés for my taste.

Oh well and here I am, almost writing a film review when I just intended to show off some photos, so I'll just shut up and do what I meant to.

Well well well, it seems I have been absent from this blog for quite a long time, I was pretty busy living and successfully finishing school and soon, there are going to be so many changes in my life. I'm going to move to Vienna and start attending university this fall, which I am quite excited about. However, I'll do my best and try to post at least once a week, since this is some sort of documentation and I really like the thought of capturing all those changes. As well, this gives me the opportunity to take more pictures and improve my photography.

So here are some photos of what I wore yesterday, in the process of taking them, I was bitten by what felt like a hundred mosquitos.
